Legal Requirements
This focus area will become an ongoing section and work will increase continuously in line with constantly changing legislation.
At present, children’s homes must re-register their facility every two years with the local Department of Welfare and Population Development. Certain requirements in this registration process do place large burdens on facilities that generate their own funds. However, PAAH has submitted all documentation on time with all necessary regulatory documents.
All health and safety issues have been addressed and complied with and we are working towards improving the standards that have already been achieved.
